สาเหตุสำคัญของปัญหาเหล่านี้คือ “ทางบริษัทผู้ผลิต(Apple) สร้างและพัฒนาอุปกรณ์เหล่านี้ไม่รองรับหรือสนับสนุน Flash” โดยเห็นได้จาก Safari ซึ่งเป็น Web Browser ที่ติดมากับอุปกรณ์เหล่านี้ ไม่สามารถแสดงผล Flash ได้ และยิ่งปัจจุบัน จะมีการพัฒนา HTML5 มาเพื่อใช้ทดแทน Flash ทำให้เว็บไซต์ที่มีอายุพอสมควร ที่สร้างด้วย Flash หรือมีคุณสมบัติบางส่วนที่ยังใช้ Flash (เช่นส่วนของการแสดงผล Audio หรือ Video) ไม่สามารถแสดงผลได้อย่างสมบูรณ์แบบครับ
